Westlife single rumor!
It hasn't yet been confirmed but according to amazon the new Westlife single which has been ritten by Garry Barlow and their previous righter John Shanks, is titled Lighthouse!
Battle of the bands! 1D vs Westlife
It has been relieved that the new Greatest Hits album by Westlife which also contains a selection of new songs will be released the same day as the debut album by the hot new boyband One Direction.
No doubt both albums will be successful but with phenomenal fan bases backing both groups, which will make it to the top!

Shane Filan joins twitter!
After years of being nagged by fans and his fellow band members, Shane Filan has finally given in and joined the social network Twitter. His twitter name is @ShaneFilan79 so go ahead and welcome him! Lets see how many followers we can get him!
Westlife announce new O2 gig!
It was recently announced that Westlife will be doing a gig in the O2 ireland on November 24th as part of smartsounds 2011. To be a part of it, head over to http://www.westlife.com/gb/frontpage?cmdr=ip2country.detected and follow the link. All you have to do is update or buy a smartphone from O2!

Louis Walsh cleared of Sex attack!
Westlife's manager, Louis Walsh has been cleared of all charges after 24 year old dance teacher, Leonard Watters claimed he had been attacked in a nightclud toilet by the X-Factor judge.
Louis Walsh, who has managed Westlife for the past 13 years explained "It didn't happen so there is no case to 'answer. I am extremely angry that someone is trying to tarnish my name and reputation"
Lead singer of the pop group, Shane Filan was present when the supposed attack took place along with the rest of Westlife. Speaking to "The Mirror" Shane defended his friend and manager saying "I didn't see anything untoward" and would give evidence in court if required.
Watters is now expected to appear in court on September the 7th after admitting he faulsley accused Louis Walsh.

We havnt been up to much lately but the promo has slowly started to kick in with a shoot&interview for Cosmo magazine,an interview with the one and only Terry Wogan announcing that we'll headline BBC proms this summer,and a great,but wet gig at Hampton court!

Westlife to release up beat single!
WESTLIFE are thrilled with their new RCA record deal after arguing with Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
Bosses refused to let Westlife release more than one single from an album.
So after 12 years, the manband have moved on to pastures new and will release a greatest hits album containing five new tracks later this year. The first single drops on August 14.
Kian Egan, 31, told me: “The new single is up-tempo and very different for Westlife. Mark Feehily co-wrote it with John Shanks.
“Simon’s company has become more about TV as the music industry is shrinking.
“We’d have arguments about wanting to release more than one single with Syco, and Simon wouldn’t even be involved. Leaving was the best decision for us.”
I caught up with Kian at the launch party for girl group Wonderland, which he co-manages with Louis Walsh, 58.
His gorgeous wife Jodi Albert is one of the lasses. Wonderland’s self-titled debut album is out on June 6 and I expect to be a big hit.
And while pretty harmonies are their forte, the girls confided to me they’re actually huge hip-hop fans.
Jodi, 27, revealed: “We’re supporting 50 Cent later this year so we will be getting our ghetto on.
“I’ll be flashing him my wedding ring if he tries it on, though, and keeping an eye out for the rest of the band.”
The girls are also all desperate to go to the Virgin Media V Festival in August to see Eminem, 38.
Corrina Durran, 24, added: “I’m a huge Eminem fan. I hope we can fit seeing him into our schedule.”
Wonderland have been touring with Olly Murs, 27, and are full of praise for him.
Leigh Learmont, 21, smiled: “He’s been good to us. It’s like we’re a family but only see each other on stage or when we’re drunk.”
MAXIMO Park will headline the first Ben & Jerry’s festival to be held at Manchester’s Heaton Park on July 23.
Moving on to London’s Clapham Common the following day, they’ll be joined at both locations by Gary Numan, 53, and Little Comets.

Westlife sing to Obama
Earlier today, Westlife sang to Obama during his state visit to Ireland. Jedward also attended the event and sang their latest single, Lipstick which also gave them a huge success on this years eurovision. Shane, Kian, Nicky and Mark then went on to belt out their hit singles What about now and World of our Own!

Westlife perform for the Queen!
During the Queens recent visit to Ireland, Westlife along with Mary Byrne and Riverdance performed to her in Dublin City Center. The concert was held on the final day of the queens visit to Ireland after she attended a state dinner at Dublin Castle and visited Croke Park stadium.
Westlife performed a stunning version of You raise me up, the images of their performance are displayed bellow.
Fashion Kicks 2011
This years Fashion Kicks, held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support was once again a huge success! A live auction was held and Alexandra Burk also performed in aid of the charity.
