Westlife are an Irish pop group, formed in 1998 by Simon Cowell and Louise Walsh. The band originally consisted of Shane Filan, Brian McFadden, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Mark Feehily, however Brian departed in 2004 due to family commitments.

       In the groups 13 years of success they have achieved 14 UK no 1s, 11 studio albums and several records of the year awards. They were also awarded “Most consecutive number ones in the UK” when their first 7 singles rocketed to the top of the charts. They have sold over 44 million records worldwide to date.
